Indoor Air Quality
Health Alert
The Facts
> Indoor air can contain up to
100 times more airborne contaminants
than outside air.
>Airborne contaminants can cause diseases such as influenza, hepatitis, tuberculosis, and pneumonia.
>Airborne contaminants can
aggravate asthma and allergies.
>Indoor air quality problems cost
North America over $100 billion
each year in health care,
absenteeism, lost production
and lost revenue.
The Bad News
>Indoor air is recycled again and
again through your central forced
air heating and cooling system.
>Most people spend 90% of their
time indoors.
>Newer homes tend to be more contaminated due to tighter construction and use of synthetic building materials.
The Good News

economically available to
businesses and homeowners.

will improve health and decrease
lost work days.
